CrunchySFX is a sound effect generator that creates custom and public domain sound effects that are entirely free to use in any project you want! Use over 20+ sound engines to generate the perfect sound effect for your game or video!
 

Select from over 600 presets to start with, and modify as you see fit. Instantly search through them to find the best starting point.  

Don't see one that suits your needs? Use the Foundry feature and narrow down: 

Find that sound effect that's almost perfect? Use the Breed feature to mutate that sound into multiple variants. Pick the variant closest to what you want, and breed another generation based on that:  

Have the perfect sound in your head and don't feel like searching for it or breeding it 

yourself? Use the record feature:   

Then choose from various different styles and engines to modify it to exactly what you want. Quick Shape gives you multi-aspect controls over common modulations, engines let you apply different waveforms to get the sound exactly the way you want it, and console styles help you match your game's main inspiration:
